N/AApplication InstructionsPlease review position description and requirements and begin application online by clicking on the Apply Now above.Position Description POSITION SUMMARYA tradesman engaged with the erection of machineryThis includes such tasks as leveling, aligning and installing machinery on foundations or base plates and setting, leveling and aligning electric motors or other power sources such as turbines with the equipmentWe typically work with steel and must often combine the skills of other mechanical trades in order to successfully install industrial machinery or to assemble machines from prefabricated partsMillwrights must also be able to read blueprints and other schematics to aid them in the construction of complex systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIESMechanically inclined to disassemble and assembleUse tools as neededRead measuring tape and record proper measurementsRead Blueprints, schematics and other technical documentsUnderstand complex systems, equipment, motors and alignmentMust be able to identify a problem and track to solve the issuePhysically manipulate objects with tools and strengthCoordinate and ensure all tasks are completed on time.Follow directions carefully.Comply with regulations and safety requirements.Do any additional tasks that are asked or needed to be completed.Perform all assigned roles, responsibilities, and related work processes / tasks in the safest possible mannerEnsure that a safe, accident/incident- free work environment is maintained for all co-workers, customers, clients, suppliers, etcat all timesPM20Position Requirements Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredWillingness to safely complete any tasks that are assigned, with a positive attitude.Mechanical aptitudeMust be computer literate to operate the alignment equipmentRigging knowledge and skill to assist with movements, as needed.Working ConditionsEmployee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls and tools.May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off ofplatforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements.Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to:
