Are you a dynamic, detail-oriented individual with a passion for the construction industry? We are seeking a seasoned Concrete Estimator to join our vibrant team.
This role is a permanent position with a focus on concrete estimating in the construction industry.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in our project planning process, using their expertise to ensure accuracy and efficiency in cost estimation.

Responsibilities:
As a Concrete Estimator, your main responsibilities will include:
1.
Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects or services.
2.
Preparing detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for select trades.
3.
Utilizing specialized software for creating BIM models and performing on-screen take-offs.
4.
Participating in the initial planning and bidding processes, including reviewing potential projects, providing input on project feasibility, and suggesting cost-saving measures.
5.
Conducting risk management assessments to identify potential operational or financial risks.
6.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide advice on construction cost and strategic planning.
7.
Staying updated with the latest industry trends, advancements, and best practices in concrete estimation and construction management.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Concrete Estimator role should possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete estimating within the construction industry.
3.
Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and technical drawings.
4.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
5.
Experience with BIM models, on-screen take-offs, and project planning.
6.
Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
7.
Proficient in using cost estimating software and tools.
8.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
9.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10.
Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
