As HR Business Partner for the commercial organization, it is yourrole to work as an effective business partner to your business leadersproviding advice, guidance, training, legal counsel, keeping them compliant andeducated in people related activities. The role works primarily with our commercial leader for North America(approximately 850 people and $1B in revenue) and several of his directreports.
Will consider candidates outsideof Davidson, NC depending on proximity to Ingersoll Rand locations.Davidson, NC is the preferred location.
Position Responsibilities:
Function as key HR strategic business partner to develop and execute critical business and organizational strategies and build organizational capability
Be a credible coach and trusted business partner to leaders, as well as a strong employee advocate
Provide leadership, guidance and counsel on matters related to talent, organizational development and change, human capital, employee engagement etc.
Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications
Provide guidance to leadership on talent management/development and succession planning to ensure the right talent capabilities and bench strength are developed to support the business
Serve as expert in change management processes to positively impact organizational effectiveness; provides guidance and coaching to leadership team on change management; Implements strategic change management efforts throughout the organization
Drive and enable cultural transformation to support a Progressive, Diverse, and Inclusive environment.
Develops a sustainable strategic workforce plan for the organization; Implements strategies to meet the resource needs of the business through talent acquisition, talent development, and retention processes and policies.
Understands the points of connection between the business strategy and the people strategy; Provides alternative insights and options into key business issues.
Spend time on strategy and the operational implementation of strategy - deliver tangible outputs
Play an account management role - consulting with their clients to understands needs and brokering solutions using the COEs and HR Service Center
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in human resources, business, or related area
8-10 years' of HR Experience.
HR Business Partner and Leadership experience in a Sales & Service environment strongly preferred.
Must be able to coach and advise the leadership teams.
Must be knowledgeable of HR Systems and tools.
Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, self-directed, and changing environment.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and delivery with proven, measurable results for managing change.
Strong talent management, leadership development, performance management, and organizational development experience.
Experience in managing change and transformational projects.
Ability to analyze HR metrics for use in developing goals and driving key business strategies and objectives
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with all levels of the organization required
Preferred SPHR/PHR certificate

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
